Osman Guelle Farah founded the company in 1949 in Djibouti, where he used traditional routes to ferry goods between Djibouti and the Ethiopian town of Diredawa.

From these beginnings Guelle Commodities’ imports and sales have rocketed. With a wealth of experience and a highly motivated workforce, we have tirelessly laboured, over the years, to build a reputation as a firm that brings results.
